My name is Randy and I am a freelance web designer. I started creating websites years ago as a hobby, and have gotten hooked on building them. For me, this is a creative outlet and a way of relaxing. Being able to generate an income with it is really nice as well.
About my Sites
Most of the sites that I create are built around CSS formatting. For those that don't know, CSS is basically a "road map" for the site that tells each page how to display the text, graphics, and formating of the pages. Usually, it's limited to one or two files which helps to streamline the process - making it easier for both the designer to build and the browser to interpret.
I am also a firm believer in adhering to code validation standards. When I create a website, personal or otherwise, I always try to ensure the code validates and passes all of the checks. This helps to improve the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) as well as promote multi-browser compatibility. (Since the sites that I build will need a web browser to view them, it helps to be sure that the browsers can properly read what I have written.)
I really enjoy what I do. This site contains my portfolio of both past and present works, as well as information and resources on website design and development. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy the site.
